Bridget Meranda, MSW, LCSW, RPT

Bridget Meranda, MSW, LCSW, RPT, is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker & Registered Play Therapist who provides individual therapy to children, adolescents, and adults. Bridget completed her undergraduate degree at Minot State University in North Dakota and Master’s degree at the University of North Dakota in 2015.

Bridget has specialized training to provide Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and working with children & families who have experienced traumatic events. Within her play therapy practice, she provides a variety of play modalities. She works with a variety of challenging areas including PTSD, Complex PTSD, anxiety, depression, grief, self-harming behavior, anger management, ADHD, and other behavioral management needs.

Bridget is also a mother and parent of a child who has experienced trauma.  She has a passion for education on child sexual abuse, sibling sexual abuse and family system impact of sexual abuse.  Her experience of being a mental health professional and also parent of a child who has experienced trauma has increased her desire to educate on and awareness of the impact of child abuse.  Her dual perspective as a professional and parent has increased her knowledge and understanding of the impact of trauma on the child but also the family system. She has a desire to help other professionals, parents and caregivers increase their knowledge and to support children who have experienced impacts of trauma.
